In this episode’s “sticky notes” I discuss President Obama’s threat to bypass the US Senate again on an international climate treaty which should be submitted to the Senate for ratification. When questioned on this, a White House spokesman said about the Senate “it’s hard to take them seriously.” I also discuss Donald Trump’s claim that he should have Secret Service protection and how this process works.
The core topic of the show is a breakdown of some of the more nonsensical policy proposals addressed during last night’s Democratic debate. Between the 18 trillion dollars in “free stuff” Bernie Sanders is proposing, and Hillary Clinton’s assertion that the State Department “allowed” her to maintain a private server, there was a lot of nonsense spread around last night.
