In this episode I discuss the persistent myth, advanced by activists on the Left, that President Obama has been responsible for “record deportations” of illegal immigrants. I also address the economics of healthcare with respect to the market for new medicines. Some Democrats are pouncing on the high price of the Hepatitis C drug Sovaldi as evidence of a “market failure.” However, this case is really evidence of a government failure, not a “market failure.” The core topic of today’s show is a discussion of the economics of climate change and why the most efficient path forward to a cleaner environment is a free market, not big-government, command-and-control economics.
